DMCA & Content Removal

1. DMCA Notice Process

Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable international copyright law, we will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. Upon receipt of a proper notice, we will investigate and take appropriate action including content removal within 5–10 business days.

2. Required Complaint Details

A valid DMCA notice must include:

• Your full legal name and contact information
• Description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• The specific URL or location of the allegedly infringing content
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
• Your electronic or physical signature

4. Counter-Notification Process

If your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@vitaegene.com including: your contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka.

5. Content Removal Policy

Upon receipt of a valid complaint, we will: acknowledge receipt within 2 business days, review the complaint within 5–10 business days, remove or restrict access to infringing content if substantiated, notify the content uploader where required by law, and inform the complainant of the outcome.

6. Repeat Offender Policy

Users who repeatedly upload infringing material will have their accounts permanently suspended. We maintain records of all infringement notices and act in accordance with our repeat infringer policy.
