1. How AI Is Used

VitaeGene uses AI for food analysis, supplement scanning, wellness insights, AI chat, OCR, reports and trend predictions. All AI output is informational and educational, not medical advice.

2. How Prompts Are Processed

Your inputs (e.g. meal photos, text questions, health readings) are combined with your profile context to generate a response through third-party AI models.

3. What May Be Transmitted to AI Providers

To produce a response, relevant inputs may be transmitted to our AI providers. We minimise personally identifiable information where possible and avoid sending data not necessary for the requested feature.

4. Your Consent

AI analysis of your data requires your consent. You may withdraw consent for AI analysis; doing so disables AI-powered features.

5. Security Measures

Transmissions use encrypted channels, access is restricted, and we select providers under appropriate data agreements.

6. Accuracy Limitations

AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete or "hallucinated" output. Always verify important information with a qualified professional.

7. No Emergency Use

Never use VitaeGene AI in an emergency. Contact your local emergency services.

8. Transparency

Where AI materially shapes content shown to you, the platform identifies it as AI-generated.
