Subscription Terms

1. Plans

VitaeGene offers four plans: Free, Essential, Pro and Premium. The features, AI Credit allocation and entitlements for each plan are shown in the in-app plan comparison and may change with future updates.

2. Included Features & AI Credit Allocation

• Free — core meal logging and limited AI features; one-time first-month AI Credits; no renewal.
• Essential — Essential AI features with a monthly AI Credit allocation.
• Pro — Pro AI features, expanded Health Monitor, and a larger monthly allocation.
• Premium — all features, family sharing, premium AI insights, and the largest allocation.

Monthly subscription credits are replenished at the start of each billing cycle.

3. Monthly Renewals & Billing

Paid plans renew automatically each billing cycle (monthly or annual) through your selected payment processor until you cancel. Prices include applicable taxes where required.

4. Credit Expiry

See AI Credit Terms. Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each cycle; purchased top-ups are valid 360 days; referral credits 90 days; first-month free credits expire after your first month.

5. Upgrades & Downgrades

• Upgrades take effect immediately; you may be charged a prorated difference.
• Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; you keep current-tier access until then. Data is never deleted on downgrade — you simply lose access to higher-tier features.

6. Cancellation & Data Retention

You may cancel at any time. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the current paid period, then the account reverts to Free. Your data is retained while your account is active and is deleted according to the Data Retention Policy after account closure.

7. Trial Limitations

Where a free trial or first-month free credits are offered, they are one-time per user, non-renewable, and valid only within the trial window. Free/Referral credits remain restricted to Essential-tier AI features.

8. Renewal Policy & Billing Failures

If a renewal payment fails, we will retry and, if unsuccessful, suspend paid benefits (reverting features to Free) while retaining your data. You will be notified before suspension.

9. Changes to Benefits

Subscription benefits and features may change with future updates. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.
